About the Spaniel Date Base Fleckenbase

Inspired by The Whippet Archives the “Fleckenbase” has been introduced in 2011. At the beginning the data base was intended for English Springer Spaniels only and actually the “spots” (on their coat) lead to the name “Fleckenbase”. Since 2013 the English Springer Spaniel population captured is above 25.000. The data base has since then been made available in german and in english and due to the high interest has been extended to include all nine Spaniel breeds. We are looking for more volunteers who are interested in the newly added Spaniel breeds and would like to support in maintaining andadding to the data collected for them. At the moment only the Data for the ESS are puplic available.

Rules

The Spaniel Data Base is open to everyone and can be used free of charge by all users. Therefore we would like you to please honour the following rules:

The Spaniel Data Base is only to capture real existing dogs – and not for ficticious entries or upcoming litters. It is not the place for ads about litters or any other sort of advertisment.
Pictures that are uploaded into the data base must be free of rights of any third party (especially copyrights)! If you intend to upload pictures into the data base, it is your responsibility to ensure up-front that the rights on the picture do allow you to do so. In case you are not the owner of all rights on the picture, then you need to obtain permission for it’s publication.
Commercial usage, any kind of manual copying, usageof robots, spiders oder other automated means or programms to copy this page or parts of it is forbidden.

All changes and additions to entries in the data base are being recorded in a change log and can be tied back to the user who made them. Should anyone intentiously falsify correct data or add incorrect data this user will be excluded from the website. We also reserve the right to delete users without prior notification or to not authorize a request for a new user.
